I don't think that I have the complete answer to your question but I don't ever recall reading anything that suggested any less than 10 hours of undisturbed sleep nightly, for parrots, and that is the best I have at this time.

Okay. If I just use Civil twilight as the time she's asleep, it means she is up from 0432 to 2100 today. Obviously this gets to be less of a problem as one moves south, and as we move further away from June 21.

It is a little long, but she will probably be ok as they do take naps during the day as well.

I've been keeping mine to a super strict solar schedule for many years and they are fine even though, in the summer, the nights are so short because they take longer naps at noon time. Sleep hours is not the same as daylight hours, they might be exposed to light from 4:30 am to 9 pm but that doesn't mean they only sleep 7 and a half hours.

I also follow a strict solar schedule with my birds and so my clock for them is the rising and setting sun not the actual time. My birds are up by sunrise and eat they are fed around the start of dusk and go to sleep by dark.
