I like what I see with your program, it is a great start for what I am thinking about and I think that I could do the rest using charts. The fact that it breaks things down to a per gram basis is very important to me, as most people that have companion birds would only be making small quantities. Could I get the name of the program?

I made it myself Wolf, in Excel, using nutrional data for every ingredient and then using formulas to get the end results dependent on how much of everything you put into the gloop.

Great work ! So you know how hard it is to find the program that I am looking for. I have charts showing nutritional values for a maintenance diet for an adult companion bird. I don't have all the formulas needed, yet. I think that what you have plus the means to calculate the effects of the nutritional inhibitors in the different foods would give me exactly what I am looking for as I think that by being able to reduce the inhibitors as well as supplying the right or nearly right balance of nutrients would provide more effective nutrition for the birds. I also think with this type of program or even two different ones to do the calculations that it would be possible to adjust the texture and flavors of the food with just the base ingredients. I worry about spices and some people and how they use them.
Oh well I will keep on working on this" project" of mine. Thanks.
You know, I am not as concerned about the normal nutrients that everyone thinks of as much as the effects of the micronutrients as they appear to me to have a much larger effect on how the body processes the food than what their amounts would suggest, if you know what I mean. As I keep researching it also appears that the inhibitors found in some foods are also disproportionately effective and is why I got interested in working on this in the first place. Maybe I am jus a bit nuts and looking at it wrong, I don't know, yet.

I keep on saying I am going to make a gloop with pictures to be used as a sticky and what I will do is post each ingredient measured in cups, tablespoons, etc and by weight so people can easily follow the recipe and we can get the nutritional analysis. But you will all have to wait a bit because my freezer is now full as I did a gloop batch a few days ago.
