Postby asylum168 » Mon Jun 08, 2015 9:51 am

I bought a wild indian ringneck male from a pet shop.... there is a mirror near his cage..... whenever he see himself in the mirror he starts doing mating behaviour... does it mean he need a female? Will he be easily become a breeder pair with female?

First of all either move the bird or the mirror or at least cover the mirror as this is too stressful for the bird.
It simply means that the bird is old enough to be hormonal and that it sees the bird in the mirror as being its only option for a mate. It also means that he does not recognize the bird in the mirror as himself.
From this point the more that you tell us about this bird and the more that you tell us about why you want the bird and are expecting from it, the better we can help you with him.
