I don't know that he trusts you yet but you have a common enemy: the glove.

 Yep, Liz is 100% correct. They hate gloves and wearing them to hold them does more harm than good.

Even though hes calm and active on me? Enjoys climbing my shirt to my shoulders and flys to me?
That still doesnt point to some sort of trust level between him and i?

Yes, it does point to some level of trust or possibly needs, whereas the biting points to a certain level of distrust. Trust is much easier to destroy than it is to build and eventually one will win out. Their nature as a social creatures points to a need and for this reason you can't always count on trust being the reason that he flys to you.
When Kiki first came here, she first started bonding to my Lady and did not trust me, but she still flew to me and climbed around on me but she also ate me up with the amount and severity of her biting me. Now she trusts me and is also bonded to me and except for when she is hormonal during breeding season, she rarely bites and she is reducing the severity of those bites.

Alright i understand, Rio hasnt bit me in 2 days of handling him bare handed which makes me happy knowing he isnt maybe AS aggressive as i perceived.
How will i know when its "hormone season" for my little guy? Any clues?
He rubs his bum on my hands which i read signifies (playtime) lol
Does that mean hes in his hormone stage now?

His rubbing his bum on you is how he masturbates, so he is hormonal now. This should be beginning to subside not and if he has not already started to he should begin to molt pretty soon. I am not certain of when the breeding cycle actually kicks in but I start watching for signs of its approach in mid Feb. and don't consider it to be done until they begin to molt. I don't think that it actually begins until March but there must be a build up period for the hormones. I am still relatively new to this parrot keeping.
While I don't encourage my birds to masturbate, I also don't much concern myself with it either and visitors would never even know what the bird was doing, it is really not a big deal unless it occurs out of season as this means his system is out of whack.

He is like a 14 or 15 year old boy, not quite completely developed yet but still with raging sexual hormones (and enjoying his 'experiments'). If you keep him at a strict solar schedule, don't overfeed protein and don't caress him inappropriately, he should stop producing them altogether in a couple of months to start again next spring.
