And cockatiels are also very prone to night fright if u don't know what it is its is when for some reason a bird gets startled at night but like a shadow or sound ect... It tries to fly everywhere and gets stuck in the bottom of the cage and often injures it self when this happens u need to calm the bird down and go back to sleep

You mentioned you cant get a hand fed baby but you can get a untamed baby and tame it.

Yeah try not to get an adult and make sure it looks healthy and take it to a vet straight after I've adopted it.

But don't get your mind set on a baby. Tiels are very sweet-tempered so even the adults can be tamed if one puts enough time and patience into it.

Like a parent with two kids and wants another but it is not happening. Shower your birds with attention and love until the third finally comes along. When that happens the third will still get all the love he needs and more. Love increases as needed.
