Correct. But aviary species (tiels, budgies and lovies are all aviary not companion) revert very easily when not given constant attention - and, sometimes, even when they are!

Thats very odd never heard of that I know it happens when they dont get attention but even when they do get attention I never knew that happens. It wouldnt happen with a companion cockatiel like Rocko though.

Since I am disabled and can no longer work for a living and because of my own lack of knowledge about parrots, I very quickly filled my home with several different parrot species. I will not be adding any more for a very long time as I have 7 birds of 5 different species and they each require different handling and don't all get along with the other species. It takes all of my time to accomadate the needs of all of them. This is my reason for asking about what you can give to them to improve their lives. You are a human and are in control of your life, but this is not true of the birds that we have in our care. To find what species that will fit the best with your lifestyle it is best to know something about that lifestyle. I am only concerned with the birds well being.
I am also aware that I am perhaps being overprotective of the birds as it does sound like you have an idea as to what you are doing, but I really care about these birds and only want the best for them.
You have three lories and if I may ask, what human are they most bonded to? For most people with parrots who they bond with can become an issue rather quickly and part of their choosing who to bond with centers on who is there for them. Lories, I understand are very high energy birds and are very active, but how do they respond to other birds? I am also told that they are quite vocal and will scream to let you know that there has been a change that they don't approve of or are unsure of. So not only do you need to consider how loud the new species is normally but how is this going to affect the birds that you already have. And it is questions of this nature that are what I am trying to get a feel for with my questioning, and not whether you are a good candidate for this bird or not. Well, I do consider that as well.

Well, three is never a good number with parrots because there will always be an 'odd' one that will feel left out. But lories do GREAT in pairs (that's how they are in the wild, they do have flocks but usually split up in pairs to forage as they are very pair-oriented).

If I do get a new parrot my parents are probbly gonna do most of caring as they are retired and stay at home

If they are going to be the ones taking care of it then why don't you start by asking them what bird they would want, and if they want another bird. That is where I would start.

I, unfortunately don't know enough about either of these species to even hazard a guess about which of these would be a better fit for you.

In the kaos of moving, I lost a little ground with my cockatiels. Using Flutter as an example: In NC we were starting to communicate. He would call me and come to the side of the cage to tweeter to me. I did not have as much time to work with him when I first moved and he turned into my wild child. He not only broke contact with me but he made it difficult for the others when he would get board and fly around knocking the others off perches. I lost some ground with the others but not to that extent.
I have had to work hard with them to get them back to me.
