When I take pictures of my birds I upload them to my computer and use Windows Live Photo Gallery to resize the to 640 pixels on the longest side and then they post just fine on the forum. If you cant get them to load PM me and let me know. I will give you my e mail address and you can send me the pictures and I will post them for you.

Isnt she just georgious!!! Aww she is lovely! Also I saw you recent post about her sneezing and dirty tail and feathers going black, I do agree that the feathers are stressed bars, which can be from stress or diet or poor conditions. Also to help her keep her tail clean, If I were you, I'd put a second dish of water on the bottom of her cage, Gccs love to bath and so long as she is well she should bath sooner or later/ The dish has to be large enough for her to be able to hop in without getting stuck. Tilly baths every two or three days and then will be preening for about an hour after to sit her feathers right, so it should get her to clean her tail. I would if possible get a health check for her by an avian vet, not trying to be a hypocrit (seeing as Tilly has never been to a vet) but if she is sneezing and not preening herself enough, it could be anything, even if you have found out it was because of seed, there might be another problem.
Of course it is up to you, but just in case and for peice of mind, I would try to get her health checked.

Sure thing I will post more photos of her soon, she is doing great and she's preening more, I will try it with the water bowl at te bottom of her cage and thanks for the kind words, she Appreciates it haha. I will try to take her for a health check sometime this month or January

Aww is yours a cinnamon conure. I adore the colours on them, She says thankyou for saying that she's pretty the cute pink beak is lovely I'll send her for a health check in a few weeks if that's okay she seems healthy and has started doing flock calls to me, how do I get her to step up?? what's the perch she is standing on? It's nice.

Both of you have very pretty conures, and I am glad that you figured out how to post pictures, BabyBird.
I know that you have your bird taking seeds from you, BabyBird, but would like to know where she is taking seeds from you, is this through the cage bars or at the entrance of the cage or where? Also are these seed in the palm of your hand or are they like sprig type millet and held between the fingers? Knowing this will help in suggesting how to proceed to the step up. However, I normally suggest that with sprig type millet that you begin at the entrance of the cage you hold the sprig of millet in one hand in such a manner that you bird will need to step up with at least one foot to reach the millet. The bird will probably stretch to try and get the millet and you can move it closer so it can get a bite and then pull it back just a little to encourage the bird to put that first foot on your hand. You should be talking and giving your bird verbal praise and encouragement throughout this whole time. Let the bird stretch give it a bite, let the bird stretch and put one foot on your hand give the bird two or three bites. If you keep doing this the bird will figure it out and start stepping up with both feet all on its own, you really just need to encourage it to start the process. While you do want the bird to stretch a little, make it easy for the bird to get the treat reward, and allow the bird to figure it out and come to you.

Thanks wolf, she will take the seed from the cage bars on from the palm of my hand inside the cage, she's a greedy bird and will eat all the seeds in the world if she had to. When I first put my hand in she walks away, but after I say "come back, it's seed" (she seems to pick up on what that means) she comes back and takes a couple. When I just put my hand in the cage she seems confused and takes a little nibble (I don't move my hand though) then she backs away because I don't have any seed

How exactly would I hold the Millet in a manner of which she has to reach to get it??

I normally use my other hand and hold the sprig between thumb and forefinger. I also do not reach into the cage, just at the entrance.

Its a rope perch, i think that they are anywhere around $8-16 australian dollars, depending on the size.
I do the same thing for stepping up as Wolf... hold out your index finger, and have it near her and then with your other hand hold a treat infront of your finger so as she has to lean foward and eventually step up to get it.
I couldnt take a photo of me getting Tilly to step up for an example but this is what I mean(you will have to scroll to get the whole picture:

Your finger is inbetween your bird and the treat so as to get it she must step up. (At first if she just leans fowards and grabs the treat, that will be a start, then work your way up to one foot for i then two.) ...
