I last year foolishly attended one of the uk's most hated bird shows (bird selling markets) last year after being told it had improved, it had not and contained thousands of parrots of various species being bought, sold, neglect, abused, given either dirty or no food/water and being violently seperated from their mates to be sold cheaper to the money grasping public.
After suffering months full of guilt I finally phoned the Rspc and told them what I had saw and that it would occur again within two months. They told me they might do something about it next time it's on but only if I am there, see enough neglect and abuse and then phone them, they 'might' send an officer on the day to take a look I asked what the officer would do when he/she got there, the woman on the phone didn't know and couldn't 100% verify that an officer would attend if I phoned them on the day!
So to sum up if I don't go they WON'T do anything and if I do go they MIGHT do something!
I'm of the oppion that if something bad is happening, trying is miles better than not trying, I just don't know what to do?
Does anyone have any ideas on this, as many view and ideas as possible would be helpful on this, thanks.
P.S.- Yes, there is recorded footage of the event.
