Yes. When I covered mine I would leave a peek hole at one of the perches. Remember to keep the volume down.

Dawn occurs in the very early morning just before the sun rises and dusk occurs in the evening just before dark. So I hope that you just have them reversed in your typing and not in life.

Also please make a note that when typing that when you type in all capital letters that it is considered to be the same as yelling and most people consider it to be bad manners.

Yes, I think you have dawn and dusk transposed. Yes, you can cover his cage (but make sure it's a black out material) when it's dark outside (you need to wait until it's night without any artificial lights on) and the bird is asleep and uncover it before the sky gets any light at all.

I understand and it is just ettiquette, capitals, underlining, bolding are also some other ways to signify importance. If you keep using all capitals then sooner or later someone else will mention the same thing to you, it just happens that this time I was the first one. It is not a rule that you can't use all capitals, nor was it offered to attack you or put you down, it was offered in the spirit of facilitating communication and just in case you did not know. I know that when I was first told about it, I had no idea that it was considered to be yelling.

Believe me or not, but every single question that you have is of utmost importance to me and even in the cases where I must answer the same question several times to the same person, I give it my undivided attention and try to figure out where I did not explain my answers correctly or what they were lacking. I spend several hours each day either here on the forum answering questions or doing research to answer either my own questions or someone else's questions, the only reason that I do this is to try to make your birds life a little bit better. I do not get paid and the only compensation that I receive for this is an occasional argument between people, the occasional thank from someone whose bird was helped and my own personal satisfaction that I have done my best to improve a birds life by helping its human find the right information.

Just like you, I feel that every question that you have is of the utmost importance.

As long as you are patient with your bird and you listen to them so that you don't end up inadvertently pushing them around you will not have much of a problem with them bonding with you. The one time that the bond between you and your bird will be in jeopardy is when your bird enters puberty, This is because with a juvenile bird the bond is the dependency bond like that between the parent and child. When your bird enters puberty it will release this bond and pick a new human to bond with, because you will have been fulfilling the role of the parent bird and this is natures way of limiting incest in the birds, they choose a different person to bond with because it will be the mate bond and they don't want to mate with their parent.

About the only thing that you can do to help insure that the bird rebonds with you is to limit who the bird is around when it enters puberty so that you are the only one it can bond with.
