I hope so but I doubt it, they are VERY stubborn that way - at least mine are. It takes me many, many times of repeating the same command to fly away to get them to stay away from any one spot.

Mine listen the first time if they think it is something that will hurt them. Myrtle on my shoulder felt the heat from my stove. I told her hot. Now I can tell her hot when I give her something off my plate. Rainbow learned from Myrtle.
If it is something they want to do and I tell them not too they are just def.

What is it with birds and microwave ovens? My greencheek will fly to it whenever it is running. She will hit the glass and flutter against the door like a moth to a porch light.

My CAG Turk used to do this, too, but I thought it was because I would use the microwave to heat her food when she was being hand-fed.

It could be the hum of the microwave they are drawn to.

My Cockatiels call to the TV when the Law and Order music comes on.

Nicholas has learned the theme song to The Simpsons. He whistles it, occiasionally. It might have something to do with the recent 600 episode Simpsons marathon.

I did that with Z Nation. They ran all the old episodes and I watched them again.
