Kookooloo is usually very happy to be out of the cage and hanging out near me and although she now accepts Kiki being on me, she is not really pleased by it either and if I start giving Kiki any attention, Kookooloo is right there telling me that the attention should be hers and not Kiki's.

If I leave the cage door open, Nick will climb out, and down to the floor. He will then run around like he is scared. It make me wonder why he climbs down in the first place. Is like the same reason people go on roller coasters?

Pookey TAG does the SAME thing! I also have never been able to figure out why! It makes no sense to me but, somehow, it seems to make sense to her because she always does the same thing when she is scared.

If Myrtle is on me and I start to pay attention to Rambo she will pinch me. I guess that is my punishment for not giving her total attention. I have tiny bruises on my arms.

Navre and Pajarita, are you speaking of the half crouched run with the wings partly spread but not open?

Yep, that's the one! But of all the grays I've had, the only one that does it is Pookey. All the other ones would take flight and perch up high while Pookey flies very low to the ground and horizontally (instead of going up) for a few seconds and then goes to ground and does that weird run looking for a place to hide.

Kookooloo does this whenever she moves around on the floor which is still her preferred mode of moving about in the house. She normally only comes to me or heads for the bathroom where she looks for something to chew on in as dark of a place as she can find. She has recently begun to slow down to a more relaxed walk and she does not spread her winds out at all when she slows down. I wonder if although it is used when scared if it is not just a matter of better balance when they are trying to run on the ground. I know that Kookooloo is not afraid when she is doing this.

I've moved Nicky into the room with Ocean. Ocean keeps flying onto his cage. I tried covering the top rails with vet tape, because ocean usually avoids anything with vet tape, but she landed right on it, anyhow. I have a try for the top of the cage, but it terrifies Nick and it makes things too dark.

Hmmm, have you tried putting it on when he is not in the cage? You can always temporarily use a floor lamp nearby so he gets more light until they get more used to one another.
