I can't give balloons away fast enough after we have parties. The birds are so terrifiwd of them.

13. When a hawk flies overhead while they're at the window and you aren't in the room for them to fly to and hide behind. (Same scenario when a dog passes by)

14. Late breakfast (If I forget to set my alarm, I wake up to their calls)

15. Sharing toys or attention. Sharing food is acceptable when it is others doing it.

Oh I hear you on number 14.....If I have trouble sleeping I can never sleep in a little anymore. Gaugan was always so quiet and patient and didnt mind waiting an extra hour, but Sunny "knows" if i am sleeping a litttle later and he will start contact calling, and even if my hubby is up, he wont do, he will not stop his contact call until I am up and in the living room. Then he stops calling and is happy and normal.

Yes - #14! I keep trying to explain the concept of a weekend to Cricket but sadly my days of sleeping in appear to be over

Oh, yes, no sleeping in for parrot keepers! And wait until we get to the middle of the summer and it's bright day by 5 am!

I think the biggest thing that parrots hat is the word "no". Myrtle even back talks when I tell her no and sometimes throw a tantrum.
