I went to the bird club, the people who have princess parrots and budgies never had a problem. It all depends on the birds, I know that. I've only ever once had an aggressive budgie, and if worse comes to worst, I do have a nice small black cage that easily holds two budgies which is what I'm using for Chitters. While I don't have a heating pad, I do have a heating blanket I'm going to put over the top of a throw on the cage at low heat, it's very cold here. Still, yeah, I'm using the black cage for now and am going to use it later as either a quarantine cage or just a budgie cage. The budgie I'm getting is a very quiet one that likes people, all the ones at the pet shop I like the most here are hand reared and when you walk up to the cage and start talking, they all go silent and stare at you. XD They don't peck each other or anything, I've been in to see him a few times. Again, if it turns out they don't like each other, no problem. Just put them in separate cages, don't take them out at the same time. Luckily, that kind of thing is common sense to me. I'll post pictures when I get him later today, the cage is the bare basics but then again the budgies at that pet shop love people, and it'll be right next to me desk in my room.

Well, I took a few pictures of my new Budgie but my mum only put one of them on her facebook, so you can't see the cage setup. =/ I actually cut branches from my bottlebrush to use as perches and everything. Tonight, it's cold, so over the top of a throw I've got a heater blanket on. I can't link a private facebook page, so I'll make it my profile picture. The bars look silver from the flash, they're black.

The picture is too big, and the site is confusing and annoying me. How do I put this image on this page from my computer and not a link? I will not make a profile on something like imigur just for this site.

Her page is set to private, but you might be able to see it, I'll see. Also, despite the picture his belly is bluer and his feet are pink.

My brother put it on his diviantart.

Don't mind the fur on the back, the throw I had for his cage was rolled up and I hadn't take it off because I wanted it to be in the pictures to be seen with the rest of the cage setup. Only one side is fluffy, the other is smooth and the cage has these roof things that stick out so when it's properly on it can't touch the cage. You would have been able to see that, too, if all the pictures had been posted... I seriously hate working on computers.

Not in the mood for this stupid computer crap. I may be 20 but god do I hate computer work. Games are good, but I can't do much else on these things. The original picture is nowhere near that big anyway... He blew it up and used his 'image editing stuff' on it like he does everything, always, messing with everything and making it look like pixelated messy sparkly weird stuff. Like Ian wanted to put a caption on, asked for his help, and he added a layer then put the caption on top. No need for that, just save to a different link... Which he did anyway. He always always does this. The picture would have shown if he left the size alone. I hate working on computers, this is why I failed University, I'm not even kidding, I couldn't get my work done on the website because the website was so bad when I clicked "Assignment Extentions" it took me to a page telling me I can't enroll in the course because I'm already enrolled in it. I always have problems like those and he makes them so much worse.

Anyway, this Budgie isn't the one I had on hold but instead a hand reared one, already sits on my finger and stuff. The guy in the pet shop says their wings are all clipped. One plays 'budgie catch'. He'll take it out and it tried to fly off so he has to catch it every time. Well, it got behind a big shelf. And nearly out the open door. Another he took out and wanted me to get was a grey that just sat on you without flying off. I chose the one with the brightest blue belly, I thought the one I had on hold was hand raised, but I was reading the cage tag wrong. I'm sure Chitters will be happy once I get the flyscreen curtain in my room and let him out in a couple of weeks to just roam my room.

Right,he sent another, still a bit bigger than that actual picture. Let's see if this comes up correctly. If not, I'm completely going into head slam into desk mode.

Yay! If it weren't for the camera flash you'd see his belly being a brighter blue with no green, just a smidge of white around his nostrils, and pink feet. Aside from that, after 5 attempts and me completely failing to navigate to my profile for 10 minutes alone, then being stumped after just clicking my username and finding no profile editing... You can finally sorta see Chitters. Sorta because that's not his proper colour and I couldn't see that on the tiny camera screen to take more without flash and now it's 11 PM.

Almost all computers come with some type of photo editing software installed with it. you just have to find it and find where you can edit the size of the picture. you need to make the picture so that the longest side is no bigger than 640 pixels or, I believe 540 kb. and then use the upload attachment at the bottom of the page, find you picture click on it and follow instructions.

Can't find upload button, and this is a 12 year old Windows XP computer with Paint as the only photo software. It just deletes what's in the picture if you try to resize it. Although that's not what I was trying to do, more my brother blew up the picture for no reason and that's why the second attempt is just the side of a huge pixelated mess. >_>

That's a VERY pretty baby bird you got there but I don't think it's a male, looks like a female to me.

Well the beak is still pink with a little white and blue around the top and nostrils, but we'll have to wait and see. =P
