It is mainly different because different people give those averages, and they havent told us what they were feeding or if the parrrots were in the wild or captivity. i know its a hard decision because the parrot is already 20, but perhaps you could make your adoption contingent on a vet visit. The 25% difference bothers me too, since i cant imagine a world without Gaugan in it.
