How do you spend time when you are not training her?

When I want to please my birdies I buy them a pepper plant with lots of small chili peppers on. They spend ours taking each little one off the plant and watching them fall on the floor. Then they go down to the floor and chew them. It's and entire day game.

How do you spend time when you are not training her?

Well what I meant was most of our play time together is training. Otherwise she is just out and flying about. She'll fly over to me and check out what I'm doing, try to preen my hair, etc. But aside from the training and sometimes talking to her, I wouldn't say I "play" much with the bird. She's just hanging out on me or doing her own thing. Petting and care are kind of separate from this discussion too I guess.

Scooter likes to throw things on the ground and have me pick them up and pass them to him to be tossed on the floor again. OK, it's a very silly game! He most prefers to do this with bottlecaps and small balls. Sometimes he also likes to play a game where I do something and he imitates my behavior, like swaying back and forth or stretching up and down.

chico likes to watch me when i hoover then goes to his food dish on his platform/gym and calmly throws it where ive hoovered. he also likes it when he clings on to the arm of my dressing gown and hangs upside down, he does this with my net curtain as well, then lets me put him on his back. he does it again and again.

Oh, one of Scooters favorite "games" is catching when I've forgotten to remove my earrings and doing so himself! This is not an encouraged "game" but there you have it. He also sometimes likes to sneak around in my keyboard drawer and play "peek a bird" by popping out somewhere I don't expect. He does this less since I got a cordless keyboard, so I may need to rig a perch he can creep out on (alhtough I have to be VERY careful I know where he is if I move the drawer at all, so maybe it is better this way).

My son likes to build legos and our cockatiel likes to take them apart . . its pretty funny to watch. It gets even funnier when our cockatiel takes a part off one of the legos my son is working on and flys away with it!

I wish my teils would carry things in flight but they've never done.
