So it's closed? I would assume due to financial issues?

See, it's my experience with local pet stores that they rarely carry one stainless steel cage on the floor, let alone 9 (the one you previously bought plus the 8 that were just given to you). It's the type of thing you can order, yes, but stores, specially ones that are struggling financially, don't carry more than they know they'll be able to sell. Just sayin'.

Same would go for items like the big four foot Java trees. The most I've seen in a local pet stores of the full size trees is two. And they don't get replaced until they get sold. Again, in an effort to not carry more than you can sell. Yet, you get three plus "a lot".

I'm finding this very hard to believe.

The pet store was not some little rinky dink shop with a few fish and a cage or two, it was a smallish medium warehouse, I was told the reason they went belly up was because the manager went all out and bought a large serplus of supplies like java trees, this went on for about three years and when I moved I had the right timing and I found out they had the sale so I jumped to it. The sale has been going on for about a month, or so I am told. The stainless cages are all the same except the one I bought first which was used twice before and all were all made in a local metal shop and I got the free stuff today because the store was about to be seized and the manager did not know what to do with all the supplies. He was kind enough let me take my pick because he feared that the supplies would go to waste in any other situation. I just went back because I wanted to get a few extras and such and the manager offered to take whatever I liked. I tried to pay him but he insisted that I keep my money. Right now I am still in shock at my luck. I was not planning on buying anything until September or October. I realize it is a hard to believe, but this is all 100% true.

I hope that clarifies the story, I know I can be quite vague sometimes and sometimes I can be misleading. Again, I hope that clarifies.
