I have a very sweet and friendly child who is probably a male and at least 5 years old. He loves to sit on your lap. Please contact if interested. An adoption fee will be negotiated.

I also have other beds, food, and accessories available.

I decided that having a child is no longer the right thing at this stage of my life so I want to move on even though he is such a sweet little boy and there is absolutely nothing wrong with him...

I'm not blaming you, just pointing out how ridiculous these sorts of ads always are. It is alright that you mention it here and hopefully the bird will find a good home.

I just always find it amusing how much people describe how wonderful the bird is and yet they can't wait to give it away and collect a good buck for it. None of these bird sale ads say "can't put up with the noise and biting any more, hope someone can rescue me by helping me get rid of this unbearable monster." Rescues may be honest about problematic birds they seek homes for, but these kinds of free ads are frequently so full of it.

There are literally hundreds if not thousands of these kinds of ads all over the net. May I ask why in particular you chose to mention this particular one?

i chose to mention this particular one because its close by and i could possibly be of help in transport if needed. i chose to post it on this board because many members may know someone who would be a good home for this guy. i want to see him go to a good bird home and not to someone who will just resell him for a profit.
he is very particular who the bird goes to and only answered me so far because i was the only one who seemed to know anything about birds.
he is a small pet shop owner who is not allowed to conduct any business until his landlord brings the building up to codes which may take a few weeks. meanwhile he has no $$ coming in to feed what animals he has. he already has 10 pet birds of his own and has had this guy about 6 weeks.
his price is so reasonable i thought surely someone would be interested for such a beautiful healthy bird.
as i said, if there is no interest here please delete

Keep in mind not all birds that are for sale on these types of sites are problematic birds. I'm sure a lot are, but it's definitely not always the case.

yes i am well aware of all these ads and their lame excuses to rehome the bird. not really telling the whole truth, just bits and pieces.
but i remember an ad about a yr ago by a guy who wanted someone to "take this dam bird"
he's mean and he bites and i quite ornery most of the time etc etc
amazingly he got several offers to take his bird.
