my baby just sits by her cage door waiting for me to come get her she womt play with her toys or make any sounds???i cant hold her 24/7 how to keep her from being board?she has ladders climbing toys bells chew toys?

She'll have to get used to being by herself. You can still talk to her while she's in her cage...do contact calls, etc.. But you don't want her to become overly dependent on you...or it becomes very hard if you go away for a week-end, or end up being away for an emergency of some sort.

And while you should have a daily routine, I also like to keep mine flexible so that the birds don't become too fixated on something happening at a given time...again, just so that they don't fret if things don't work out one day (say you get a flat tire on the way home, or need to work late, etc.)....

THANKS FOR THE INFO IAM SO NEW AT THIS EVERY THING WORRIES ME I LOOKED AT THE CHART ON UNDER WEIGHT BIRDS SHE IS AT 1 TO 2 I JUST GOT HER5 DAYS AGO CANT FIND A VET WITH IN 60 MILES SO I HAVE TO LOOK AT PET STORES TO SEE IF THEY KNOW ANYONE?? LOOKED ON NET NO LUCK MY VET DOSENT TREAT BIRDS OTHER THAN CHICKENS NO LUCK THERE .WHERE DO I FIND OUT HOW BIG SESES GET?

There will be a weight range...someone on this board should know off-hand.

She might be a little lighter due to the stress of the move, but as long as she's eating I wouldn't be worried...she'll settle down.

Make sure she's on a good quality pellet. That's the mainstay. Roudybush, Harrisons, Zupreem Natural (avoid the coloured) are all fine. Then supplement with a good quality seed mix. Add fresh vegetables, fruits and appropriate table foods daily.
