So... I don't know if I did something wrong and encouraged Scotty to bond to me more than I should have, or if it is simply his choice/his preference, but we now have a flock in which both birds prefer me to my husband....

Any comments, suggestions? Help!

Actually, you know what I think would absolutely work best? Take a vacation. Just you and leave hubby with the bird. No joke, in two weeks it should solve everything.

Three. But we have been together quite a bit longer than that...

As for the vacation, we both travel for work and so we do each get periods with the birds alone... We are both gone briefly at the end of the month, maybe Scotty will be so glad to see either of us, he'll fall all over Bill!

No the bird didn't get squashed, but that was my first question!
