Hey i don't have a GCC but unless he's suffering from some thing like toxic metal exposure i think he might be horny. Don't mean to make fun of your situation but that might be mating behavior that your seeing, (If you don't think it's convulsions) If in doubt check with your vet,

Is he offering to regurgitate for you? Or begging you to pick him up? Sometimes lifting wings and dancing is Scooter's "I wanna come out!" request. Scooter has yet to offer to regurgitate, but when Scotty does, there is a lot of head bobbing going on...

Captwest, from what I have read, I would think that if this behavior was accompanied by backing up to a hand or other object, it would then be a solcitation to mate...with whatever was being backed up to... is that your experience also? I've yet to witness that behavior.

I don't have a GCC so i know little about their behavior , With my birds there's alot difference between male/female rituals , i'm not familiar with the backing up, i've seen the females crawl under the males and females flic their wings to stimulate the males, and of course sticking their fannies up or crouching down on the perch , quivering. The action described seem more male to me , head bobbing, allo feeding, displaying ,. those type of male things, once again i know little of GCC behavior . If you think it could be convulsions check with your vet, especially if you notice thing like a color change in his poop or it becomes watery.Like Entranced said he could be excited to see you or wants your attention.I don't think your doing any thing wrong.
