Before I moved back to Ottawa, Merlin and I moved a LOT. I moved 11 times while I lived there 11 years, and Merlin was there with me for 9 of those moves.

He used to come with me from the GTA to Ottawa on car trips whenever I went up - he LOVED it, and made good company.

Merlin or my other fids have never had any issues or shown stress with moving or going in the car. To them, as long as they've had someone familiar around, they chatter away during the process of moving (whether it be a drive or a full move).

That has just been my experience :).

I hope yours enjoys travelling too!

Back when we used to have an RV we used to take the pet parrots on road trips all the time. If they got antsy in their carriers we'd just pull over and let them out for awhile. We still take the birds picnicking, camping, etc. Ducky (sun conure) goes with us and does volunteer work at our local cat rescue (no, he's not in actual contact with the cats - silly!). He was begging for donations for the shelter yesterday at another farmers market.
