My bird doesnt like the blanket

Postby riot » Sat Apr 02, 2011 11:23 pm

Every night she gets very aggressive, bitting at me thru the cage. she never does it during the day. When i bring the blanket to cover her, she rushes over and starts biting at it. She is an Indian ring neck :irn: Should i just not cover her ? Is there something else that could be wrong?

Sounds pretty simple, she doesn't like being covered and is trying to let you know that.
Don't cover her and see what happens.

My budgie does something similar, but she likes being covered at night. For her, it's just a game that she gets to play before bed time. She'll usually pull the sheet through the bars and hang from it for a while before going to her favorite sleeping swing and going to bed for the night.

If you think your bird doesn't like being covered to sleep, just leave her uncovered. Make sure there's not a lot of noise or light in the room she's in. She should be fine.
