I have invited them to the forum to learn more. If I say too much on my own they may block me.

Yes, giving advice is real hard - one doesn't always 'strike' the right balance and people tend to take offense or, sometimes, they just don't want to know so much, they just want to do the easy thing without worrying if they are doing it right...

Rainbow is trapped on the counter and can't get down. She begged me to pick her up and take her with me. I did. She went to the favorite corner of the bed and went to sleep.

Trapped because she would not fly or glide down on her own?

Yes. Since that post she has started jumping down. I gave them a big cage and Rainbow can now walk his way to the floor.

The two zons in the birdroom fly all over the place but the old ladies only glide down to the floor. Good idea on putting something there that would make the 'drop' not that far!

The little pedestrian is good at climbing.

Rainbow has not finished her hormonal time. I thought Myrtle might miss it. No. She flew to me clucking and making all the noises with her butt up. I do have the advantage that they are sweet when this happens.

I have the big cage pulled up against the counter that seperates the kitchen and dining room. I feed them on the counter and even have some boxes on there for Rainbow to play in.

I got up around 9 last night and found the kitchen light on. Rachel had come in and did not turn out the lights when she left. I don't use the overhead lights after 8 pm.

While walking around turning off lights I could hear "WooHoo" coming from inside a box. Rainbow was letting me know where she was. She is so adorable.
Myrtle goes to roost at 8 pm no matter what is going on. She sits on top of a door facing the wall. The lights don't bother her.

I guess I need to start putting up posters again to enforce my birds schedule.

I can't wait to get my Amazon and activity room set up. I will be spending much more time with them.

I always get worried when I can't see them. I'm afraid to step on one. I almost stepped on Nadia at the rescue. The little bald grey was kept in the office, but if she got too lonely she would walk out to see us.

Rainbow always lets me know where she is. If not then she will respond to my asking where she is. Myrtle just sits quietly to see if I can find her. I could be walking all over the house calling her name and she just sits and watches me.
