My Amazons are very busy. Myrtle flies a lot and has a cardboard box to destroy. Rainbow is every where too. He does like his step stool with cardboard around it. I do a lot of sweeping.

I have had Shadow, Tommy and Tammy the longest. They were pets. When I put them in the room with other birds, Shadow became part of the flock. Tommy remains a pet and comes to me for kisses. Yesterday Shadow wanted to be near me and would chase Tommy off his perch so he could be near me. I move my face to where Tommy is as well as giving Shadow attention. Flutter has also been coming to the side of the cage and chirping at me.

Flutter does not have a mate now and has gone back to his old habits of flying around and knocking the others off their perches.

I have been searching CL and www.rescueme.com.
So far no females.

Tommy needs a mate too.

I am tired of referring to Gimpy by his disadvantages. I am changing that sweet birds name to Impy.

GREAT DECISION! Nobody, human or animal, should be referred to by its handicap, deformity, or whatever unless it's something that brings attention to a good feature (I have a cat named Linda because she is so beautiful). Impy is a fabulous name!

My Zons are always busy except between 2 and 4 which is nap time.

I was watching TV in my bed at nap time yesterday when Rainbow decided to nap with me. (I always leave part of my bedding hanging down). She climbed up, sat on my belly and closed her eyes.

Rainbow gets very loud when she is rubbing against something. Myrtle is hormonal now. She just started. She makes cute little noises.

Cockatiels are as happy as ever. Because Tommy comes to me for kisses, others are interested. Jackie still does body slams. Flutter and Shadow want to do kisses but are not brave enough and stay a few inches away and twitter to me.

Yes, my zons are all going fast into breeding condition, the ladies have had sex three times already, Zeus is displaying and together with Precie are busy looking for a good nesting site -I have to get a couple of nice big, thick cardboard boxes for them.

I use soda can boxes. They feel secluded but I can look in from the hand holding hole to see how they are doing.

Phoenix tried running down his ramp with his wings flapping. He did a head first summersalt then ran away from me as if I did it to him. He figured it out and came back to me.

Shadow is the only one wanting to nest. He has been mean to any male who gets near Tammy. Tammy is not ready.

I gave the Zons an unsalted cashew yesterday. I know Rainbow enjoyed it. She made "yummy noises" the whole time he was eating it.

All the cockatiels are doing well. I love those little birds so much.

Myrtle is now hormonal. She is a lot quieter than Rainbow.
