I get my non alcoholic milk thistle from a health food store, but it is somewhat expensive. They said that they could only get it in 1 oz. bottles, so I ordered 6 bottles which is a case and it cost me $80.00.
I also put about 2 oz. of aloe in about 8 oz. of drinking water as it is an aid indigestion and a very mild liver cleanser too.

I have to pass a health food store, The Rutabaga and in what quantity for a little fat cockatiel. I have the pure aloe without additives so that will be easy.

Would the aloe benefit my flock? I am doing everything I know of for them but will do whatever needed to keep them healthy and happy.

These little ones are such a joy. I wish everyone with a cockatiel would rescue another. Cockatiel interaction is hilarious even though mine's new game can get noisy. When I open their window they contact call their neighbor cockatiels.

Okay. I am getting carried away talking about my kids. They are awake but don't yet know that I am so they are just doing little twitters.

I don't see any reason that aloe would hurt any of your birds, especially if used as an aid for digestion which you could use once a week. As for the milk thistle it comes in a 1 oz. bottle with an eyedropper, I fill the eyedropper and put half of it in Mimi's soft food and half of it in the budgies soft food.

Myrtle has been a real brat. When she does not get her way she will fly to Rambo and knock him off the cage. I chase her around the house yelling bad bird then go back and console Rambo. I don't know why she is so slow to learn that I am not happy with it.
She has been finding things in the house, some of which I don't recognize. She has learned when I say "what do you have. let me see." That I will give it back if it is safe or trade for something else.
Rambo has not been playing with toys. He spends his day looking out the window and yelling to anything that moves. The jogger must be getting used to hearing "c'mere". I don't know if he realizes that it is a bird and not a kid.

Rachel found milk thistle to give to Gimpy. They are still in NC.

Rachael knows, I hope that the Milk Thistle must have no alcohol in it.
Myrtle thinks that you chasing her about yelling at her is a great game, why would she stop it, when it is so much fun?

She knows she did something wrong and knows that I am mad at her. She will be good for just a little while then pick on someone else. I guess it is my fault for not taking time to set up a real play area. All she has is her shower curtain chains. I have them in two rooms and attach things to them for her to tare off. I have a water jug tied to the bottom of one and she rides it like a tire swing.

I am not to bright these days anyway. Without even thinking of what I was doing, I picked up a bone from in front of a boxer's mouth. It was my fault for being empty headed. The good thing is I am now in the Iverness VA medical. I called to see if I was still covered by my tetanus shot. I am but it really hurts tonight. It was one tooth and it hit the bone on my fore arm. I guess I will go in and get it checked tomorrow. It is just a shame that I will introduce myself to a new VA center as an idiot.

I think Max has been found. I was on facebook when a picture of a cockatiel came up and said found. It looks like Max but it is hard to tell in a picture. I sent an email and am waiting for a response.

Well you might as well introduce yourself as an idiot, it saves on misunderstandings later on...
Seriously, you are right that you should not have done this with a dog that you don't know, but a Boxer is not one of those breeds of dogs that should be running about without it human on a leash with it. They are wonderful dogs, clean, loving, loyal, intelligent and so on, but they were bred as a war dog and are capable of killing Dobermans, Rottweillers, German Shepards as well as German soldiers. they were bred for lightening swift attacks with bone crushing force. Sorry, but I really love Boxers and am a firm believer that if you are going to be responsible for an animals that you should be fully aware of what you have to be responsible for.
I really hope that this is Max, let me know what happens, please.

I not only know this boxer but I love him. My neighbor brought this bone to my fence while I was out taking care of Jake. He thought he stole it from me when he took it from my hand. He used to be very food possessive to the point that when I put food down I had to hurry back out the gate and he would slam it trying to get me. Some one had starved him and teased him with food.
By feeding him the same time and with the same food every day he accepted that food would come loving dog.
It was my fault. He thought I was going to take the bone. He bit me on reflex then backed away from the bone when he realized what he did. Last evening he backed away from the gate when I brought his supper. This morning he started wagging his little nub of a tail when he saw me but did not come to me until I called him. Instead of running like he usually does he stayed right with me for the half hour I was out there.
