Don't worry about the zons doing contact calls with each other from different rooms, they will calm down as they get used to their new home.

I hear you on the siblings... I have a boy and a girl that don't get along, either -but it's because the boy (my second youngest of the boys) has issues and she has no patience with grown-ups (like me :D )

I bought this house in March. When they asked when I needed the house so they knew how long they had to find another I said July. Both of my kids said I could move sooner and started to load my stuff on Chuck's moving truck at the end of March. I love this place but it has been a nightmare.

Chuck is trying to teach Myrtle to not scream when he is here. Wish him luck.

Gimpy has been on pellets. I took his pellets away and gave him my gloop. He ate it all.
He really should have been named Scooter. I have his cage in the cockatiel room so he can socialize and seems to enjoy the other birds. When he is ready he will come out.

I feed the cockatiels on a big tray and put gloop and vegie plates every morning at 10 am. Phoenix is always the first to eat every morning. In the evening I clean the tray and scatter budgie seed on it. While I am still on the floor the flock converges on the tray like a flock of chickens.

It seems that the nightmare is over and you are all now getting used to your new home and routines. Congrats!

Myrtle as yet to claim her "nite nite" place. She goes different places each night. I need her to be where I can find her in case of emergency. She liked the cardboard box on top of my dresser but Squeaky cat move into it.

Myrtle wants to get in the box with Squeaky. I can't let her because Myrtle has a thing about tails.

Paj, my son has issues. He takes meds and fights his emotions every day.He did his grocery shopping at midnight when there were fewer people.
Until they turned 14, Chuck took on the responsibility of helping Rachel. He was different then.
Two good things about getting old is the senior discounts and Chuck trying to care for me. The last 5 years or so my PTSD has increased and I have trouble making myself go out. Every evening he asks me my plans for the next day. If I say I need to go shopping, he clears his schedule to be with me. It makes it a lot easier for me and he is doing better coping with people.

My daughter has issues but won't admit it. She has mood swings that could give me whiplash.
I am having difficulty dealing with her. She still thinks Chuck should look out for her and help her but he cannot be near her without having an episode.

Ah, yes, children are a blessing but, sometimes, the blessing ends up been a double-edge sword. My second to youngest boy tends to be too easy on his faults and dismissive of others' opinions which drives my oldest daughter (and me!) up the wall. And, get this!, my youngest now wants to convert to Judaism and move to Israel for a couple of years (he's always getting these strange ideas and doesn't seem to grow up once and for all)

Mine are in their 40s. Because she never married and had kids she did not grow up. She does not realize that she is heading for middle age.

I feed enough morning and night that there is always some leftover. Phoenix has been coming to the feeding tray before I leave it. He is so sweet. I had been scooping him up to get first choice. Now he comes on his own so I won't touch him. He is like Maggie in that he will touch me but does not want me to touch him.
Maggie is being courted by Tommy. He followed her around so much that she finally gave up.
They are always sitting together. She is not a loner any more.
Gimpy changed from pellets to gloop the first day. He is doing well but I only let him out when I am with them. Some idiot clipped the wings of a crippled bird. He can't fly but he can flap and travel across the floor.
Tweet lost flight feathers on one side so he travels across the floor.

Rambo and Myrtle must be doing well. They don't listen to a thing I say and I know they know what I am saying.
