If he is not eating the budgie seed, he is getting too much protein food or too often because given the choice between no protein and budgie seed, they will all go for the budgie seed.

I put 2 almonds under his gloop in the morning and he get fresh cut fruit and veg with it. Rambo does not get hand outs like Myrtle so that is all he has until supper.
He gets half an English walnut and a tablespoon spoon of parrot seed minus the peanuts for supper.

For Rambo this is a very strict diet. He was used to free choice.

So don't give him the morning almonds and see what happens with the gloop. He might be eating them just so he doesn't feel the sharp edge of hunger and wait for her dinner seeds and nuts.

Instead of one nut I put almond slivers in the gloop. He was a mess but did get every sliver.

There was a pearl sitting on the eggs last evening. All I could see was the back and the others were moving around so much I could not tell who was not in the flock.

I have so many cockatiels that look similar that it is hard to tell who is who unless they stand still. It is not Tommy with Maggie. Maggie had her friend with her while Tommy was on my shoulder.

When my roof and ceiling are being fixed I will have to move all the birds to a safe area which means I will have to cage them. Rachel brought more flight cages with her but they won't like being confined. I can push them to the back deck so they can soak up some real sunshine. Spraying them will be easier with them in cages. Gimpy cannot go into a vertical cage so he and Phoenix, his buddy, will have to have their own horizontal cage. Wish me luck with the adjustments.

I don't knowhow many repairs you need to make on the ceiling but the roof should not take more than 2 days, most of the time roofs are done in a single day. Ceilings are another matter and when it is finished you will still need to allow some time for paint and other materials to cure out with lots of air flow to vent the fumes out of the house.

Yep, one day for the roof and one day for the ceiling with paint the following one so you can have them back in their room in three days and that's not too bad for them to be caged.

One day for the roof but more for the ceiling. They are my three biggest rooms. A living room and 2 big bedrooms were built onto the front of the house. As black as the ceiling is it may have to stay bare for a while to dry out the rafters. The Mother in Law room also has a leak on the other side of the house.
I need prayer from everyone. I took a shower yesterday and while toweling off I heard running water. I checked the Mother in Law room. The hot water pipe let go and flooded the whole place. I don't have homeowners insurance. No one will insure me because of the MH age.
I don't know why GOD is letting this happen to me. He has blessed me so much and given me multiple miracles.
These are suppose to be my golden years.
Sorry for dumping on you. I have not had a chance to make friends here yet to hear me whine and complain. Chuck is usually the one to hear me out of my problems but right now he has bigger problems and I have to care for him.
