YIKES.
Wolf I think I put the horses in a thread that should only be about my birds. Will you please move it to "Liz".

Okay. I just thought that I should not have been talking about horses in my Rambo and Myrtle thread.
The horses seem to be doing much better. Yesterday the big horse, Indy, challenged the minuture horse, Hinder to a race yesterday. They did laps around their fenced area. Of course Indy won because his legs are longer and being part Quarter Horse he cut the turns closer. It was beautiful watching Indy run and play. Hinder runs all the time while holding a half deflated ball in his mouth.

OK Now I understand what you were speaking of. The thing is that you didn't talk all that much about the horses an with the fact that you had several answers about them, moving them would just leave a big hole in this topic making it harder to follow, so it is better to leave it as is.

I had to wash the dogs before I could go to bed last night. Jasmine got scared so I kissed her on the head to console her. Myrtle was on my shoulder and got jelous so she bit me on the back of my neck. I was so mad at her that I chased her through the house swinging a wet dish towel and yelling OWE. She knew what I was talking about and flew as fast as she could to get away from me. I almost hit her a couple times. She is like a 2 year old kid and knows very well what she is not allowed to do.

Well, Liz, the way I look at it (and, most likely, the way that Myrtle looks at it, too :D ), you were the one doing something that is not allowed, Myrtle was just trying to remind you...

I share your pain, Liz, as we all do, or have, and/or will have. My ol' man laughs at the numerous precautions and weird habits and strange conniptions I go through to avoid bites. And still, once or twice a year, maybe... he gets me. It hurts my feelings, not just my body part. I hope you recover soon and happily!

Oh, and his usual target is my right ear. I take my hair DOWN when he's on my shoulder, so all he gets is a beak full of it when he tries to bite. I turn my head until he stops snapping. I have a noticeable area of split/bitten ends at about ear level, but it's worth it!!!!!!!!!!

The things we do...

Rambo and Myrtle both watched with interest when I washed the dogs. Myrtle just does not want me to give attention to anyone but her.

Her bite did not break skin and cause blood. It just made me angry while I was trying to calm my dog. I only hope that this 6 year old bird grows out of her "terrible twos" soon.

 She is not going to grow out of her possessiveness of you, Liz. You are her chosen one and should never dare to pay attention to anybody else but her - and, if you, she will remind you of the 'rule'
