A year ago I never would have believed that I'd be pooped on so many times in the coming year! lol. I am constantly cleaning poop around the house and off myself and doing mirror checks before leaving the house. But, conversely, budgie poop is super tiny and usually firm enough not to leave a mark and easy to clean. Animals have to poop. It's gonna happen on you at some point - get used to the idea or don't get a bird. I hear pet rocks are pretty nice... ;)

You know, I'd prefer to get pooped on by my birds multiple times a day, then have to clean up after my dog.

The problem with pet rocks is they are so easily taken for granite.

Yeah, you will get pooped on at some point, it's true. It's been ages since I really got it, but I was feeling ill this morning from something I ate and I'd gotten Scooter out for his good morning. He was leaning away from me and saying "Pretty Scoo-scoo" and generally trying to let me know all about it, but I was not alert enough to realize what was going on before he squatted. The first morning poo of a mostly fresh-food-eating GCC is... wet and voluminous.

Einstein makes a HUGE morning poop, always in the same food dish...

 Amen, sister.

Apparently deckie's parakeets are relegated to a lifetime spent inside a cage... how sad. Why not just buy a picture of a bird?

AMEN!!

I have a container of "poop off" pop up wipes and they are great. My bird is potty trained but the odd time he does poop ON MY WHITE SOFA!!!! and the poop off wipes get it out. and there is no smell no big deal unless he has just bathed and drank half the tub.....sie la vie
