Under a paper blanket?

Postby Scarpath » Fri Jul 29, 2011 10:20 am

My 2 green cheeked conures like to crawl under the papaer I put in their tray. My mom thinks they are making babies but there is no nest box and they are brother and sister. Also if a brother and sister bird did have babaies would they be messed up? :gcc:

Do you want them to have babies? Based on your profile pic they are pretty tame and if they had babies, they probably would abandon them because they don't know how to take care of them. They are probably just playing/snuggling anyway.

The paper makes noise and they love noise.

When I put a cereal box in with the tiels, Sweetie walks all over it slapping her feet down for noise.

I don't really want them to have babies because if they die I will be sad and so will my birds and they are brother-sister so I don't know if they are going to have messed up babies or not.
I never thought that the noise of paper would make them happy. They also like to chew it up.

Lol! Thats funny! Hmm I would think so and then I wouldnt think thatthe babies Would be messed up because when you breed humans of the same genes they get messed up and that goes for some other animals as well. But not all. Because ants, rabbits, and rats breed with each other and nothings wrong with them.... So its a animal type difference I eould think... Hope this helps.
