Showering My Parrot

This is Chocobo:


As you can see, he likes to take showers. Unlike traditional parrots on a perch, he just runs around on the ground and preens slightly. I wish I could see Vasa's in the wild doing this, as they often do with dirt etc.

It's kind of funny because Chocobo has his days of "less wet" showers, but typically he wanted to be soaking wet (like my yellow collar, who just sits directly under the sink faucet and lets warm water drench him). I personally think they enjoy the shaking-out portion of the shower because I respond with a "whoa! buddy! Calm down!"
