I took Charlie, my lovebird to the vet yesterday for the first time for a general check up. and she was really really really impressed by how well tamed, and gentle and social he is. especially when i turned him over on my hand so she could check his belly.
she was like, "WOW, you did an excellent job taming him, cuz lovebirds tend to be cranky and grumpy, and bite really hard." She was telling me about how she used to work at a shelter where there was a lovebird. she was beautiful but very unsocial. They used to call here Eve. short for Evil... LOL
I'm so happy I want to take my bird to the vet again
