we hav bought a harness for her on ebay just waiting for it to arrive. little birds arrived yesterday. shes usually such an easy bird, but putting her head tru the hole to get the treat took a while and shes still very reluctant. so wer thinkn how hard it will be with lotto, since shes so much bigger...
im so excited about when we can take them out but i think it will be too cold by time theyr trained...

Even if it is too cold outside, you can take them in the car and to stores :)

:amazon: Rambo has broken wings in two tiels. I love Rambo but don't trust him an inch around little birds. He bit my Charlene because she wanted to be friends. He bit Lemone' for landing beside him. That is while I was with them. They are fast.

Amazons live a long time but they will be 6 yers old forever. Rambo and Myrtle are in my will but I still worry about what will happen to them when I am gone. The longest lived Amazon is 104 but average the same as a human.

ill have to try prevent them from getting too close so....if i introduce her as a baby im hoping she might be more gently and know little birds gently too...
i just hope little bird doesnt think shes bigger then she is...
a close eye will be kept on them...im usually lying on the floor playing with them when theyr out so that will b the plan to keep things in my hands to distract also

There are videos on YouTube of an Indian Ringneck named Marni. He is the leader of a pack ranging from a Tiel to a Macaw including a Cockatoo. He loves his cockatiel buddy and chases him around asking for a kiss. I do believe that that family is the exception to the rule though.
