What do I do??

Postby paper_lantern » Mon Oct 24, 2011 10:18 pm

My baby green cheek is arriving on Wednesday, I'm driving 4 hours to pick him up from the airport. He will have had a very long day, he is taking three different flights to get to my closest airport. What should I do when I get home, should I put him in his cage and let him sleep and rest? Or should I cuddle and interact with him right away?

I've asked two people who have bird experience and I got varying answers.

Just wait and see how he's doing. Relax and play it be ear.

Search other threads. There are multiple on this topic. Also, Google tends to be a good choice by popular vote, apparently.

Ketchingup,

Furbie arrived late, but safe! He is doing great, and the first night he was here he was actually very curious and wanted to play, which was surprising to me. He is a very hyper little bird, we love him to death =).
