I agree about Lineolated parakeets! They are adorable! I saw them in person for the first time recently and was very tempted.

Cockatiels are sweet little parrots. They tweet and chirp in little voices. The males sing and two of my males talk. I don't see anything offensive in a little tiel. Well fed and clean they are the happiest little birds and a joy to be with.

I've gotten recommendations for African Greys and Eclectus', so I'll definitely be looking into them. Although I have read that eccy's generally go through a loud phase when they're young.

I love cockatiels and although it'll probably be the parrot I settle for, I'm still definitely open to any and all suggestions!
