hi, mya does the same.she sits on the palm of my hand then plays with all my fingers pulling them up,pushing them down, wiggling them, tapping knuckels with her beak, swishing her tail, then she takes a nap in my hand.

i don't think so since mya's female she wouldn't be on top.penny used to grind himself on top of my hand, that's how i found out he was male not female like i was told,i typed parrot mating because he was getting possesive of me after he started and attacked everyone near me now i won't let him. now he grinds on anything while staring at mya saying hey baby i love you.

I don't think this a good indicator of gender. I've known females who are tops and not bottoms.

Perhaps she was weaned too young? I have seen birds that were force-weaned too early and they make crying noises and nibble your fingers.

I am having trouble with Rambo. I was told he was male but he is sticking his butt in the air and rocking back and forth. He calls for Myrtle but she doesn't know anything and just steps on him. She even bit his rectum once because it was moving.
