Male indian ringneck keeps chasing female...! =S

My male indian ringneck has been housed with female in indoor cage for approx 5months now but all of a sudden he has started chasing her around the cage and holding her tail, he knocks her of the perch and trys to jump on her but is not hurting her she just runs away from him.... Any adivce or help would be appreciated...! thankyou
