Hmmm although it's not *devastatingly* cruel, something just doesn't feel right about it :?

Strictly on the basis of creativity for its purpose its interesting.

That said, I'd be worried about damage, injury and toxicity. Plus, it'd be kinda cruel I think. As others have said, harnesses don't prevent flight, just control it.

First I would ask if they were joking, ask if they were really that dumb, remind them what harnesses are *FOR* in the first place, and then de-friend their ass.

they are not a friend of mine on facebook more of a friend of a friend on a group. she got very defensive saying we were only picking it out as cruel because it was hurting my friends business which sells harnesses. i just couldn't imagine taping my birds wings! it would be so uncomfortable
