I have , about 3 months. He/she live in my room. I bought him a cage, but he live outside the cage. Most of the days I spend in the room, and he accepted me. He climbs on the hand, but don't want to flies on the hand, except when I hold some food
But only me, not the others in the house, when someone enter the room he starts to fly and squawk.
And, 2 days ago I went to the hairdresser, to shorten the hair. I wore a little longer hair, and at hairdresser i cut that hair. When I returned home, it seemed as like he doesn't recognize me. When I walk through the room he starts to fly and squawk. And escape to the locker.
When I'm on the computer, he standing on the stocker on the second part of the room. Sometimes files to cage (closer place to the computer), but when i turned back and look at him, he return to the locker.
I know it's funny
But if you can help somehow, it would be good.
And also question, is this my parrot less intelligent then others? I know that this kind of the parrots are smart, but this is somehow strange to me.

he didn't forget you.he might not like your haircut.why does he scream and fly around when others come in your room? you need to have him socialized with as many different people as possible it's not good mentally if he's only with you in one room,even out of cage,everyday.

Your parrot is not unintelligent but quite the opposite.

He/she may be frightened of your new haircut, they are very sensitive to change, some don't even like their owners wearing certain colours.

He just sounds slightly unsocialised, introduce him to as many different people as possible, but gradually don't over do it too soon or it could have the opposite effect.

thanks for the answers and advices ... i will try to socialize him, gradually...I would put him into the living room, where there are more people... but there he could not be outside the cage constantly.
