I can see differences in personalities with my cockatiels.

Sweetie, my oldest tiel does not want to be touched unless she needs help. When she is on the floor she lets me pick her up and scratch her head. She calls me to come and talk to her. Then she tells me all kind of stuff in cockatiel language. She is the first to try anything new and the others follow. If she doesn't want something in her cage she puts it out.

Shadow, her mate, is happy go lucky. He sings all the time. He will step up in the cage after telling me he really doesn't want to. He has learned some words but only says them when he is talking to me.
I rescued

Lemone at the same time as Shadow. He is introverted and will only allow contact when he needs help. He never bites. His singing voice is the best of all 3 males but he has not had a song since his Twinkle died.
I had hoped that baby

Bindi would have cheered him up. He claimed her and fed her when Twinkle died. Now that she does not want feedings they are just cordial. She is still a dumb baby. Although I held her a lot when she was little she threatens to bite me.

&

Tommy & Tammy are complete opposits. He want every bit of attention that I can give. Sticks his face though the bars and blows kisses until I go kiss him. He sings, steps up any time and is a joy. tammy does not want any attention. She only steps up when she needs help.
I don't know with the Amazons.

Rambo, male? & 21, is a double yellow head. Myrtle just turned 2 and is a blue front. Their personalities are different but I don't know if it is because they are different species.
