So my young lorikeet, Samson, has this issue with jumpers and thick or fluffy clothing. He nibbles by nature, but only really to taste and interact with his environment. However, when it comes to these types of clothing he really changes. I'm not sure if it's just aggressive behavior or him becoming very frustrated and irritated, but he will get very passionate about biting the clothing. He will grab it, try to do a crocodile roll with it, hold it in his beak and pull it forcefully side to side, or just gnaw very intently at it. I'm not quite sure how to handle this behavior. I have tried doing what i did to stop him biting people and that is to wobble him, but as soon as the wobble is gone, he thinks for a moment and then goes right back to attacking the clothing. He is extremely sociable, more so than any of my other birds, but if someone's wearing a jumper, or something thick or fluffy, he just has to go for it. This is the only time he ever exhibits this sort of behaviour!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
