Your little guy should adjust in a day or two. You'll want to try to leave him be some the first couple days as he adjusts. Talk softly to him as you are near his located saying his name often. He will get to know his name sooner that way. After he is settled, you need to address the nipping. Don't pull your hand away because he sees that as you fear him and his is flock leader. Nope! You are. When he nips, say "no" or "no bite" in a stern but non threatening voice. This is how I break them of that and then all is better. Birds are the best!
