What to put on bottom of Play Set?

Postby alec92 » Thu Jun 28, 2012 4:32 am

Hey guys,

I've got a wooden play set and I thought it'd be a great idea to put grit on the bottom, but my bird eats the grit. I don't want the bird eating its own waste, and also it throws the grit everywhere, so does anyone have ideas as to what else I could put on the bottom of the play set so that it doesn't create a mess?

Cheers

Newspapers always the easiest and cheapest but you may need to weigh down the edges for when your bird flies/flaps his wings. Be wary of grit because too much can cause impaction.
