Good to know! Thanks. I must admit IF she doesn't come around the way I had hoped :[ at least she will always have a good home with all the love she allows me to give her. I will proceed with more caution but she deserves to have these years loved and treated well instead of stuck in a too small cage with a 'tiel swing for 25 years! No wonder she's mad at the world. IF you could see her right this minute, she is begging to sit beside me on the computer chair so see? I can't give up on her. I will not take her on blind faith any longer but will keep trying, slowly, one day at a time and just maybe she will come around. We have had good days so maybe..... And thanks about the book suggestion. I will definitely look at that one!

My Amazons sit on my shoulder. They love to hitch rides in the house.

Birds are not afraid of faces. Before I could touch Myrtle and before she could fly she would try to fly and land on the floor. From there she would walk to me and climb me like a tree. Once on my shoulder she would snugg in agains my neck and make little noises.

She has been on my shoulder for the last half hour. She takes my hair clip out and gives it to me so I can put it back in. Then she takes it out again.
