A Mix of Curiosity and Paranoia

Postby trueloveway » Sun Aug 26, 2012 11:12 am

I actually really feel stupid asking this, it just seems like such a silly question, but I've tried Googling this with no luck. Jack moves his beak up and down a lot, and I've noticed that it's when he's content (i.e on my shoulder) or just moves his tongue up and down, and I've been wondering why he does this. Again, I feel like this is such a silly question, so don't make fun of me! Thanks for everything

Don't feel bad, it's a good question.

I've read in a parrot book that wiggling the tongue is a sign of friendliness. When your parrot wiggles his tongue, he is showing that he likes you and wants to cuddle.

Wiggle your tongue back; your bird would probably like that
