Yesterday afternoon Sisu :redbelly: Pushed the cage door open and decided to climb on the outside :D It's probably a bad habit that i shouldn't encourage but he won't let me take him out of the cage just yet, so i thought the extra exercise would be good for him.
He went to the kentia palm i keep next to his cage and then climbed down to the bunny cage to look at them from above. Then he started chirping for me, so i came over and i offered him my hand to climb on.
I must have put it too far up or too far apart, because he used his beak to grab onto my finger and he pierced the skin  but for once i don't think that was his purpose :)
he stayed on my shoulder watching Bones and chatting with me for about an hour. Then i put him back into his cage and the first thing he did was to poop. So i'm extra happy that he didn't want to do it on me
I am happy he is improving so much! I love my little feather monster so much already <3

This morning i went to Sisu's cage to offer him some treats with the clicker (started yesterday with it) and feed him as usual. Changed his drinking water and when i was done he wanted out :) so now he's sitting on my shoulder while i write this apparently preening himself.
He loves to be scratched and i love to scratch him. so far so good! The only thing that worries me is that sometimes when i scratch him in his neck under the beak, he will peck me after a while (like chickens do) And some other times, he uses his foot to scratch his neck. There are some feathers missing in that spot.
I checked the spot as good as he would let me and the skin looks fine, and there is no trace of parasites. He went to the vet a week before i got him and the report says he's healthy.
Does anyone know why could he be doing this? Is he bored or nervous?
Maybe he needs to bathe? I misted a bit of water his way once but he went berserk, so i don't really know how to achieve this

Hey guys! I'm not sure whether this is a right place to post my question..Well, I wanted to ask how do you choose vets for your birds? I've read a lot of vet reviews (http://www.pissedconsumer.com/consumer- ... inary.html), and not all of them are good. I'm really afraid of entrusting my precious to a bad doctor.. What would you advise?

Choose one that specializes on tropical birds :) If you provide your location, someone here might know a good vet in your area.
