Have you offered a reward? Sometimes that helps.

I have offered a reward, though I've not specified how much. And I checked my posters, they're still up so maybe they were just blown away before. I thought I heard him today, but there is another person who owns a Cockatiel on my street, so it was probably him xD

I don't know them personally, and I could try it but I don't think it'll work. I've tried playing him Cockatiel sounds on my laptop, and he showed no interest, he was too busy trying to nibble the keys or climb up my arm to sit on my shoulder.
He was hand reared since the day he was hatched, his mother abandoned her eggs, it was her first clutch, and only two survived. The breeder didn't have time to hand rear them, so his friend offered to do it. He much preffer the company of people, he'd even try to fly to my sisters head if I was to walk past her.
I've also checked on my posters, they are still up so it muct have been the wind that blew them down. And I checked the Lost and Found register, and he's up there now :)

Your cockatiel may be in the area, that could've been him you heard. Don't give up, keep trying. I hope you find him soon. *Hugs*

I hope so too, it doesn't help though that I've not been feeling well for the past week. My hope has risen though to finding him one day, seeing as the posters are still up and he's on the lost and found register. I might go for a snoop around the island on Friday, see if I can hear him. If not then maybe he's flow inland. Then I'll go out some posters out there too.

Just wanted to give a quick update. This morning at around 7am, a man knocked on my door and told me he thinks he saw Captain in a nearby park. He said he'd thought it was an odd looking bird, but hadn't seen he poster. He said he walks there every morning and will keep an eye out. I went there about 20 mins later, as I had to get ready for work, but I had a look and couldn't see him. I'm going to look again tonight, though of course it'll be dark. Ad I'm going to check again tomorrow morning. I didn't get my hopes up just incase, but I'm glad someone possibly saw him.

I've been keeping an eye on this thread, and hoping for the best for you and your bird. I'm glad you have decided to keep looking for your little guy and not give up. No matter what happens you will know that you tried your hardest and didn't give up on your :greycockatiel: . Hang in there, and good luck. I really hope you two are reunited soon.

Sorry for not updating in such a long while, for some reason my browser couldn't open up the site. But a quick update. I have still not found Captain, I went to the park where he was sighted for a week. Taking his food bowl and calling him, but no luck. A guy I work with was kind enough to print out 76 coloured posters for me xD so I was posting them up last night. I replaced a few of the photocopied ones, and put some more up in new places. My hope is dwindling, especially after bonfire night but I'm trying to stay positive. Though the weather has been wet and very cold this past month.
