YAY! That is amazing! I can't believe that those people had him for so long! I am so glad you got him back! :D
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands.

Oh trust me I'm going to be very careful with him now, always going to check the house is secure before taking him into any of the rooms.
The couple who found him have a daughter, she texted a friend of hers who works in the same factory as me, asking for the phone number of the man I bought Captain from. She added that if I ever sell Captain, she'll offer me £200 for him because her mum misses him so much. Also her husband asked me if he could borrow my travel cage as he's going to get a Cockatiel for his wife, I have a feeling they won't leave me alone xD
And Captain seems to be settling nicely, I think he remembers my room and his toys.

It is amazing the effects birds can have on people. you are lucky that they gave your bird back in the first place! I once knew of a friend of a friend whose budgie flew out the window. it flied a very long distance, and was found by a couple that phoned in saying that they might have found the missing birdie, but when the birds owners came to get it, the people who had found him said that they were wrong and that it wasn't the same bird, not wanting to give it up after seeing all the tricks he could do.

Again, I am very happy that captain is home safe and sound with you! :)

Thanks again everyone ^^ He's settling really well. I think he's starting to remember who I am and where he is, I'm going to start training him tomorrow. Get him back into it.
Also the people who found him have gotten their own Whiteface Cockatiel now, don't know any details but I think they're happy now. I'm also trying to get Captain to whistle some tunes, no luck so far. Also want to find a bigger cage for him.
