Weird sound

My long billed corella has been making a weird throat sound kind of like a strange swallowing sound does it mean he's ready to start talking

My female caique does that and shes saying hello.Its weird its coming right from her throat.I have a request if you could post a picture of your corella that would be so great

I got bandit as a rescued bird who fell out of the nest at about 9-10 weeks old and he's the friendliest bird
