Attention Routine

Postby trueloveway » Mon Nov 12, 2012 12:14 pm

So, I recently got my first job, which I'm very excited about. Just for a bit of background, this is part-time to start out with, and my schedule isn't set in stone. Sometimes I'll be called in in the morning and sometimes I'll be working quite late. Inevitably this mean I have to change my routine with Jack, but will this affect him negatively?

He won't be getting any less time with me, just at different parts of the day. I figure if I have to work early in the morning then I'll get up and have a goal of at least 3 hours until I get home to take him out again. Jack will still get his eggs and fruits and veggies, etc. But do you guys have any suggestions as to what I can do?

Thanks in advance,
Joanna and :senegal:

Agree with Terri, it sounds like things will be fine. When you are home from work and before you head out, spend a lot of quality time with your bird. And, of course, reserve some quality time with your little guy during your time off.

It might not be a bad idea to turn the radio on for your bird before you head out for work, so your bird has some company. ;)

Congrats on the new job, BTW!
